Webinar Summary – Physio Edu Series 2026
Aditya College of Physiotherapy organized Webinar 14 of the Physio Edu Series–2026 on “EBP and Recent Advancements in COPD Condition” on 19 September 2026 through an online platform. The session was delivered by Dr. Fahamida (PT), Clinical Physiotherapist, Sakra World Health Hospital, Bangalore.
The webinar focused on the importance of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in the assessment and management of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The speaker discussed current approaches to COPD assessment, pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise prescription, breathing exercises, functional capacity, symptom monitoring, and patient education.
Recent advancements in COPD rehabilitation and their clinical application were also highlighted. The session emphasized integrating research evidence, clinical expertise, and individual patient needs to provide effective and patient-centred care.
