Aditya College of Physiotherapy successfully conducted the second webinar of the *Physio Edu Series–2026* on 13 June 2026 from 11:30 AM onwards through the online mode.

The webinar, titled *“Plyometrics in Sports Rehabilitation: From Criteria to Return-to-Play,”* was delivered by *Dr. Satvik Acharya (PT), Assistant Professor, College of Physiotherapy, School of Health Sciences, Dayananda Sagar University* . The session was designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the role of plyometric training in sports rehabilitation and its application in facilitating a safe and effective return to sports following injury.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. B.A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions, and Dr. Priya Vishwanath, Vice Chairperson, Aditya Group of Institutions. The webinar was convened by Dr. Vebaku Madhu (PT), Principal, Aditya College of Physiotherapy.

During the session, Dr. Satvik shared valuable insights into the evidence-based implementation of plyometric exercises within rehabilitation programmes. He elaborated on key concepts including tissue readiness criteria, ankle, knee, and hip plyometric progressions, load monitoring strategies, and return-to-play decision-making. The presentation emphasized the importance of structured progression and objective criteria in optimizing athletic performance while minimizing the risk of re-injury.

The webinar witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, interns, and faculty members. The interactive session encouraged active engagement, with participants gaining practical knowledge regarding the integration of plyometric training into sports rehabilitation protocols.

The programme was highly informative and well received by all attendees. The successful conduct of Webinar 02 further strengthened the objectives of the Physio Edu Series–2026, reflecting Aditya College of Physiotherapy’s continued commitment to academic excellence, evidence-based practice, and professional development in the field of physiotherapy.
